Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Extrusion Operator to join our team. The Extrusion Operator will be responsible for safely setting up and operating machines that shape and form plastic materials.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate extrusion machines to produce plastic products
- Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards
- Adjust machine settings to control factors such as speed, temperature, and pressure
- Perform general maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Follow safety procedures and wear PPE as required.
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production
- Inspect finished products for defects
- Other tasks deemed necessary by the Shift Lead, Coordinator or Corporate Management
Skills:
- Ability to operate a forklift safely
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Previous experience in plastics extrusion is a plus
